"What LCMS Means to Me..."
Recently, a select group of 6th grade students participated in an art enrichment activity where they discussed what Lewis and Clark Middle School means to them, then worked together to create three murals for display around campus. Participants agreed on three general themes; Peace & Friendship, Exploring New Places; and Sports & Learning.
Over the course of three weeks, these 25 talented artists created these group artworks to celebrate what it means to be a student at LCMS. The artwork was unified by patterning and a border, and variety was displayed by their unique visions of the same topic. Enjoy!

A new face in the Art Department
Mrs. Dobson and Mrs. Hansen would like to welcome student teacher Ephraim Eisley to Lewis & Clark. Mr. Eisley is a senior at Boise State University, and is in the final semester of his coursework. He will be joining the LCMS art team for the first quarter of the 2011-2012 school year.
Mr. Eisley is an accomplished ballroom dancer and uses his experience on the dance floor to provide a fresh perspective to the students of Lewis and Clark.
